I always had a passion for music but never got a chance till the recent years to study music more seriously. I am mostly interested in Persian classical music but have not limited myself to it.  

I have a studied different musical instruments for a short period of time and I am still taking lessons and practicing some of them. I play Piano / Keyboard, Santur, Daf and Tombak. I really like singing but I don't have the voice for it however I still took some Avaz lessons.  As my interest in percussion grows I also started to play a bit of Drums in Fall 2005.

Yet, I haven't discovered which instrument is going to be my main instrument. I love playing all of the instruments. Even though I have played Tombak for a shorter period of time than my other instruments, I think I have made more progress due to the nature of the instrument . Since there is no melody involved you just need to feel the rhythm and acquire the ability to produce it, advancement is achieved in a shorter period of time than melodic instruments.
